ShopSabre CNC was founded by Jim Bombardo in Early 1998 when he decided to take an idea that was popular among his friends and neighbors and bring it to a trade show. At this trade show Jim sold 15 machines and realized he had a system that people liked. Jim and his ShopSabre Router system quickly evolved into the systems you have come to know today. In only a few short years Jim added Plasma and Laser to his line up and since then ShopSabre CNC has never looked back and now have over 4,000 systems worldwide in 28 different countries. ShopSabre CNC has maintained its values and goals of always being an American Made CNC system that provides its own support. Jim is still involved in the everyday operations and quality control of his product and always looking at new ways to expand his CNC system to the next level of technology, capability, and ease of use.
