All ShopSabre plasma machines come standard with a magnetic breakaway but the upgrade to the Electronic Torch Collision Detection system gives you the industries most advanced torch collision technology on the market. Unlike many lower cost solutions, this system no longer could detach and become misaligned as this system will automatically re-square the torch to assure your torch accuracy is right where it needs to be for optimal performance. If a major collision occurs with the torch, integrated proxy sensors will alarm the machine and stop it immediately, saving your machine torch from potential damage.

This technology also can allow you to use your Z Axis with force touch meaning on less conductive materials you can override the ohmic systema and use the proxy sensors to create a more accurate Z zero.
