Crafting a Roman Arch Backdrop on a ShopSabre CNC (Hirsh Handcrafting)
We traveled to Tennessee to spotlight a Roman arch backdrop produced by Elijah Hirsh at Hirsh Handcrafting. After designing the file in Vectric VCarve Pro, Elijah uses his ShopSabre IS 510 CNC router to cut out the multi-sheet project. He concludes the project by assembling the full piece with wood glue and showing off the finished result.
Projects like this would take countless hours to do by hand. However with a ShopSabre CNC machine, they are repeatable, accurate and significantly faster to produce.
