This CNC Router Carved a Tambour Sideboard Out of Walnut

We traveled to Kingston, Washington to visit Ben McGauhey of Captain’s Custom Shop for this ShopSabre Spotlight.

In this video, Ben creates a custom walnut tambour sideboard on his ShopSabre RC8 CNC Router. With his automatic tool changer he’s able to carve the front panel and add a distinct texture to the piece that makes it stand out.
