Meet the Team: Nate, Machine Shop Manager
A dependable industrial CNC router is built from the inside out, starting with the precision parts driving the gantry and spindle. In this Meet the Team spotlight, Machine Shop Manager Nate takes you inside our Lakeville, Minnesota facility to show how we machine the core components for our IS and Pro series lines.
Precision machining demands intimate knowledge of every tolerance. Before joining ShopSabre, Nate spent 13 years at a dedicated supplier machining parts specifically for our equipment. As Nate notes, “Been here a year and a half now, so I bring 14 and a half years of experience with ShopSabre components to the table.” That deep mechanical background directly guided the updated engineering on our latest IS Series and Pro Series CNC routers.
Every morning starts with setting up machines to mill precision components for our router and plasma tables. Machining our own parts in-house gives us total quality control over fitment, bearing surfaces, and drive assemblies. We never settle for generic off-the-shelf brackets when our machines require rigid, well-engineered parts.
Watch the video to see our machine shop in action and learn why in-house engineering sets the standard for American manufacturing.
