How This Shop Builds a Resin Chess Table Using CNC Router & Plasma (LVTD Design)
We traveled to Denver, CO to speak with Evan Jones and spotlight his company, LVTD Design. In this video, Evan and team create a 30″x48″ white oak chess board table. They’ll be pouring resin into channels cut for the chess squares and mounting it all to a CNC plasma cut steel table.
This project is a fusion of CNC router, plasma and by-hand craftsmanship. LVTD Design uses a ShopSabre PRO 408 CNC Router and a ShopSabre SideKick 8 CNC Plasma table in this video.
